All You Need to Know About Singapore Haul

If you follow me on twitter when I was on my trip in Singapore, you’d remember how much I gushed on how there are plenty of S$5 shorts and shirts from Cotton On. That costs PHP150 when converted to pesos and the cheapest Cotton On shirts being sold in Manila costs PHP400. Like, what a steal, right? Despite myself, I ended up spending a lot of my budget on clothes. No regrets though, since I love them all. Here’s what I got from my Singapore trip.

Clothes. Despite having thick thighs (lol), I love wearing shorts. I live in a tropical country; I don’t want to suffocate my legs in pants! I bought 5 different shorts from Cotton On which only costs $5 (PHP150) each. The ones I bought are perfect for beach trips. There were also denim shorts for the same price but the sizes available are really small. Sad face emoticon. I also got some shirts from Cotton On for S$10, sweatshirts for S10-15, and dresses from H&M for S$15. I don’t know how to take photos of clothes… Sorry!

Tote Bags. I bought one too many of them, it seems. They’re also from Cotton On and they’re cheaper than a scoop of ice cream, haha. I’m planning to give them away on my blog anniversary, if anyone’s interested.

Beauty Products.  I am fully aware that these are available in Manila but when my godmother asked me to shop with her in Etude House, I did. I got all these face masks for free from her. Thanks, Ninang! I also bought some mascara and eyeliners from those S$2 Japanese stores that are really good.

Typo haul. Friends, Singapore has an outlet sale for Typo products. I was in heaven. Sadly, we visited on my second to the last day so I have no more budget. I ended up buying this S$5 book which is usually worth S$20 and there stickers for my iPhone that only costs $0.50. I’m asking my Papa to buy me more of the books when he came by that neighborhood.

Books. These were actually from a previous SG visit – circa 2014. I wasn’t able to visit bookstores on my last visit, which I regretted. Singapore bookstores has book covers that are not available to the Philippines but are really pretty. I’m a sucker for good book covers. They don’t come cheap, though. I think they were S$25 each.

What I really wanted to buy when I was in Singapore was either a Kate Spade or a Michael Kors bags. I keep passing them by every day. Good thing I didn’t bring enough money to afford it. I’m 70% sure I would have bought one if I did, haha. Maybe in my next visit.

I also bought my compulsory magnets. I keep buying them from every location I visit. I’m thinking if I should shift to post cards instead and tell stories on what happened on the day I bought it for memories’ sake. I just might, actually.
